MCRA (Canterbury) is a “not-for-profit” (NfP) organisation.
Currently, we rely entirely on the Manor Close Residents’ Association Annual
Donations to finance the repairs and maintenance of the Boundary Fence.
Although we are a NfP organisation we still have to raise over £300 pounds
per annum just to meet the cost of Public Liability Insurance (for the
boundary fence) plus £15 company registration fee payable annual to
Companies House.
As the boundary fence has not been properly maintained for several years, it
has gradually fallen into disrepair. To continue to try and maintain the
existing fence would not prove cost effective.
Recent estimates suggest we would need to raise in excess of £4,000 pounds
to replace all of the existing boundary fence.
MCRA annual subscriptions alone would not raise sufficient funds for this
much needed work to be carried out.
Therefore, we need to look at alternative funding if we are to achieve our
objectives . Now that MCRA web site is up-and-running we will be inviting
sponsorship from local companies in exchange for regular exposure on our
website...please click
